images/garden_img1.jpg Here is my “Front Door.” I work hard keeping the lawns and flowers looking great for the few visitors I get. Turning to our left from the mail box, you can see my home and business as in the very top header picture. TEACH Services and LNF both operate upstairs in the red barn. The trailers on the left is where we store the books. The house on the right is a mother-in-law's cottage and the blue house is where I live with my two horses, dog, and two cats (outside of course).
images/garden_img3.jpg My orchard and garden is just a short distance from the house (see it in the background?). This picture shows the tomatoes in front, beans on the fence with carrots and rhubarb in the back.
images/garden_img4.jpg Here you can see my Indian corn behind the peas, the asparagus (just planted 40 crowns for the future) then tomatoes, eggplants and finally the peppers under black plastic. The empty plastic bottles are noisemakers that keep the unwanted animal folks away.
images/garden_img5.jpg Here is my cabbage patch. I put in 24 and just picked one last week (August 1st) and it was almost 12 inches across! Such sweet cole slaw it made--I took some to church potluck. I also have onions in the back of the grow box and to the right a grow box of pinto beans (I love Mexican food).

I also planted six blue Hubbard winter squash (great for pies!), three cantaloupe, two yellow crook neck squash, two zuchinni, and an acorn squash. I also has potatoes, anise, and parsley.
images/garden_img6.jpg Here is a view showing the pinto beans in the front with beets and turnips on the left. Cukes on the fence near the onions and the orchard in the back. We get a bushels of apples each year with a few plums. Between the trees I have high bush blue berries which produced gallons of good treats. What a sweet treasure!
